We have an 82% driver retention rate! Almost half (45%) of our drivers have been here at least 4 years; some as long as 15 and 16 years!
Regular driver wage
Drivers are paid a percentage of the load starting at 28% (29% for drivers with a tank endorsement) for new drivers. Top out is 33%. New drivers are reviewed at 6 months and 1 year from hire date, giving them an opportunity for 2 raises in the first year. Thereafter, drivers are reviewed annually on the anniversary of their hire date.
Working pay increase
In addition to the load percentage, drivers are paid $25 per day while working, up to $125 per week.
Drivers may occasionally get hourly pay for certain things such as breakdown or layover. Our hourly wage for drivers is $20 per hour, up to $125 per day. Conditions may apply.
The sign-on bonus, for new drivers, is $7,500 and is paid out weekly at $150/wk. for 50 weeks. The sign on bonus for rehires (gone 3 years or more) is $3,750 and is paid out weekly at $75/wk. for 50 weeks.
The referral bonus goes to existing (both full and part-time) drivers who refer new full-time drivers to the company. It is $2,000 and is paid out as follows: $500 at 30 days, $500 at 90 days, and $1000 at 6 months.
Driver of the Month
A driver from each division is picked every month for doing an exemplary job during the previous month. The winning drivers receives a certificate and a $50 gift card. Check out our News page to see recent winners.
Drivers who receive a clean Level II or III DOT inspection receive a $50 gift card. Drivers who receive a clean Level I DOT inspection receive a $100 gift card.
One driver in the fleet is randomly selected monthly based off of logs and safety performance to receive a $100 gift card.
